Hi,

Has anyone had any experience with Totally Auto's Restorer's Spray Paints?

Thanks

Yeah, they're ok. Their Hemi Orange EV2 paint doesn't have the correct metal flake (doesn't have any at all), and some of their nozzles get clogged up.... and the price....

But I just used some of their grille silver and it turned out well. I recommend them.

i used there argent silver for my shaker bubble and it was good. i think it just was a shade too light and shiney but overall it worked good.

Used thier argent on my grill and it came out fine. Asked for B5 blue for a 73 and it came out way wrong. It was the very light color, maybe more like the 69 B5.

Bought once from them and the nozzle clogged. I returned it, but had to pay shipping. Sounds like a roll of the dice if you buy there. I would look elsewhere.

I used some of there air bottle bracket paint about 8 years ago. Color was waaaaay off. They never responded to my concerns so now I go elsewhere when possible.

I believe his name is Dave Ferro. I keep a bunch of his paints around, somewhere in the area of 45 cans or so at all times. I have most of the selection with the exception of a few colors. That said the biggest problem is the nozzles but they always send a ton extra. I've had cans(only LT/Dark Argent) not want to spray but do with a little work. Overall I'm very pleased with the product and any issues seem to be single can related.

Do you care if I ask why ? Just wondering becuase the Rallye wheel paint seems to be the best of the ones I used. Just wondering if I'm missing something or getting lucky.

I have used their B7 spray paint on my car, mostly on parts of the underside of my RR. Its not an exact match, but its really close. I've had no problems with it.

Does the problem with the clogging of the nozzles occur mainly with the textured paint? I would be using it to spray some parts Y1.

That does seem to be the rule but there's always an exception. But most non-textured have been pretty good for me.

i got their kit for redoing the 70 road runner horn. the purple was way off, very gray. i posted about it quite a while back. they were pretty good about dealing with it, in a way. i sent the can back, and they said that this was the right color, and returned it to me.

it's still off, not the right color, but since i couldn't find anything else at the time, it was close enough.

i would probably buy from them again, but most likely depends on what it was...

Worked great for me! Used their black dash paint, grill silver, argent, and organosol all rattle can spray paint.
I have to admit when I sprayed my airgrabber scoop on my 71 Bee with a spray bomb I fully intended I wouldn't be satisfied and I'd have to do it over again properly with a gun etc. But I had the can kicking around so I tried it. I was happy with it just the way it was.
I tried over and over to get dash satin black mixed locally and to make a long story short gave up and used Totally Autos and it turned out perfect.

I like their products. I think they offer up good selection and quality products. How many other vendors offer a similar rattle can alternative that works as well?

Nope, mine happened with the regular stuff.

I've found my local hardware or automotive store is just as good or better.
