These came in the trunk of a car I bought awhile ago. They look the same but one is stamped s204 and the other s205. Did a search and nothing came up. Thanks.

They do appear to be left and right, by looking at the upright sections.
Other than that I haven't a clue.

I was thinking engine lift bracket just now and searched google images and found this...
https://m.ebay.ca/itm/Kent-Moore-J-28467-380-GM-3800-Engine-Lift-Bracket-/381997528106?hash=item58f0d3b42a%3Ag%3AxtIAAOSw4CFYwvM4&_trkparms=pageci%253A0557b7f7-89da-11e7-aaca-74dbd1809dff%257Cparentrq%253A1b3caacd15e0aa18f10f7b9bfffe372a%257Ciid%253A16

Now that we know you play with GM stuff, you get to stand in the corner, lol

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.

LMAO! No, no,,,, these were in the trunk of a mopar! I can say though that the 3.8 Buick motor has always been my favorite in the 2000's My wife had an Olds Cutlass and a Grand Prix with the Buick 3.8 and it was Very dependable and great on gas. Had plenty of pick up and go for a daily driver!

i bought a bunch of kent-moore tools, new in the packages, at a swap, cheap, just to get a bracket looking piece i thought i could use for a project. it turns out, they are all gm speciality tools. how many corners do i hafta stand in, and how many suppers do i miss going to bed without for doing what i have done ? and by the way, that bracket looking thingy wouldn't work after all. frown
