I've been trying to find a new 3 speed wiper motor for our 74 Challenger. The one on it was frozen solid; I picked another one up at the Nats and the guy swore it worked but nah... it doesn't work either.

I tested the ground and even tried jumping straight from the battery but no luck.

NAPA lists this one but they can't fill the order - https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/RWM49362.

Does anyone know where I can get a wiper motor?

The car is a nice driver not a show car so I just want one that works not a NOS restoration part.

Even though it's a driver, you would be better off getting the original redone. That way you know it works the first time .

Sometime it is not possible, I have seen some so rusted that the stator and rotor were fused solid together. How did you bench tested the one you bought...

When I sent my WORKING 70 off to bmcuda, he sent pictures back to me. My first response was " how was this thing working". We sometimes forget because we have grown up with the cars that the parts now are 40 plus years old. Imagine in 1974 taking a part from a 1934 Ford and expecting it to work flawlessly.

The ones I have are 3431906 and 3431665.

The one I picked up at the swap meet looks solid and isn't frozen but it no work.

What's the best way to test one?
