Anyone use one on the street? I,m looking for 2,800 stall with 318.Do they have anti-ballooning plates like advertised? I,m looking for a better quality converter without wasting money on a "big name" I know to stay away from junk converters that remove some of the turbine fins to increase stall and reduce efficiency.I,m open to other brands as well,Thank you.

I've used PTC converters for years,recently installed a 9.5" PTC in my friends 89 Dakota and it works as advertized and the rear tires are helpless. They can build what you need for your application.
