I came across these roller rocker shafts for small blocks by White Performance and Machine. Price is very good ($220) for shafts and roller rockers but I am wondering about the quality. Has anyone used these or have experience with them? Are they worth it or are they junk? I hear the Pro Forms are junk, I don't have personal experience with them. Here is a link from ebay on them: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/MOPAR-CHRYSLER-SB-273-360-1-50-SS-ROLLER-ROCKER-ARM-SET-W-SHAFTS-WPM-2336-1084-/201917654140?hash=item2f033ae47c:g:5PgAAOSwEK9UGdlE&vxp=mtr

I have a set on a 360 with eddy heads that I bracket raced for two years with. Never had a problem with them....I had to use .015 shim to line up the rockers...rockers are still on engine but engine on engine stand as the 73 duster went back on the street with stock engine.

And the bolts were too long, they bottomed out in the eddy pedestals...

Was running a hughes 230/237 hydraulic cam.

They are Speedmaster parts, FWIW

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.

Was looking at the e-Bay pics, are they an adjustable cup, so that standard ball and ball pushrods can be used?

The first add says you may need shims and have bolt length issues depending on the heads. The second one is quite a price difference 218 vs. 175

I bought a set of these, they were supposed to be in 1.6 ratio...two had visibly different ratio (you could actually see this). My particular seller didn't want to have anything to do with me after the purchase (all too often these days that seems to be my eBag experience though)...had to have eBag case opened and after much BS I finally got my money back.

Point being, you get what you pay for. You may be lucky and get a good set though...

Heres my take, you got to do your own qc as china man has zero qc, they will throw crap in a box if it semi looks proper.

I always let the seller know ahead of time if I get junk its coming back.

Im on it when it hits the door, knowing this I use alot of prw rockers and have had zero failures and the prw are just jazzed up speed master stuff.

Oddly the china rocker are the best fit for the china head and so so for the oem.

The bolts provided are long enough to cause issues on oem heads but not a edelbrock or china head but most dump the bolts in the trash from the gate and us a usa made bolt.

PRW is a big enough of a seller if I fond a individual rocker thats just they swap out that rocker or if there are two they swap out two.

Since if a test motor I also test run the rockers on a semi heavy spring for an hour or so then inspect again.

For me ive the time to do this and if it saves me 3-400 its worth it.

Id not suggest anyone just buy these and pull them from the box or wait six months to inspect.

Ive got a good guy at a company that sells me things at 1/3 the ebay prices and as long as I do my qc ive had no problems.

Its sorta like the folks who by a edelbrock head thinking its a race head, its a oem design replacement that we work to race with.

Keep realistic goals and you can get realistic results.
