Looking at getting a slide in camper next year, how tall of a garage door do I need to clear it with an AC unit?

Can't answer you, they come in various heights........

Moved one for a friend many years ago, not real big, stock 75 3/4 ton truck, scared the crap out of me, felt like you were going to roll it.

Was hoping someone had a newer one and could guesstimate it. Looking to build a garage this year and not sure if a 10ft door is enough.

Just a wag but figured the camper is a minimum of 7' from the floor of the truck bed, add minimum of another foot for AC unit.

Unless your truck is a lowrider a 10' door is too short.

We've got a 2004 Camper we put on a 2011 Dodge 3500 4x4. Stock height truck, but still need to raise the camper bottom to more than 3 feet high to get it in.
Overall with the A/C unit on top as the high point, It is at just under 11 1/2 feet.
We'd need a 12 foot door to get it into a garage...

just worked on a 2016 3500 single wheel today with a large slide in. We have 14ft door at work and it just squeezed in. In road testing told the owner he should have gotten a dually.... he sadly agreed.
