I am new to Mopars, and interior work on any car. That said, do you install (hang) the rear seat back first, and then install the seat bottom?

or, do you install the seat bottom, then hang the seat back?

I am fighting trying to install either, and is there a trick to installing them?

Thank you for your help, Mark

Yes, the seat back gets hung first.
I usually remove the front seat(s) first.
Makes access easier
Then bolt the bottom of it down.
Then the bottom gets pushed in under it.
Might take a few tries to get the hooks to grab.

I have mechanical Aptitude.
I can screw up anything.

no bolts, has flat blades that goes through a loop at the lower corners

Thanks guys...I have been having one heck of a time trying to get the seat bottom in! Jeeze!

Cussing and swearing has not helped either.

To get the bottom in there are two hooks in the floor pan and loops on the seat.

To get the loop over the hook you need to push down and back. Sometimes using your knee helps.

Thanks Morty, I was trying to hook the bottom in first, then swing the rear of the seat down...that was why I was asking if the back hooks on first. No wonder I had to lift the back up, and then back down. Did not go well.

Thanks, Mark
