You need to run a offset lifter with the 572-13 heads...I would run Isky or Crane..Lunati is now making them as well, which is my personal favorite. Of course Indy has them, they are made by Comp.

Am I crazy or are those pistons in upside down?

One day I will have something cool here.

I am doing the same thing. I think you should take into account what spring preasures you will need. Some of the lifters out there may not hold up to high spring preasures.

oh I agree that valve layout is correct. But they appear to be upside down. Maybe those pistons are different than the last few sets I have used. or I really am crazy.

Your right 4404dart , but heads-up and RonP have seen something their wright ,also somthing I noticed when I recived the pistons from INDY cylinder head but just couldnt put my finger on it . It took me a couple of weeks but look at the valve angle on your stock heads then look at this pic again. Thats right there not stock there 15 degree pistons, they should be 13 degree pistons for 572-13 heads they sent me the wrong pistons, I sent them back over a mounth ago and I've been trying to get the right pistons from them sence then, it's like they have disapeared into the black hole of nobody knows . To this day no luck as yet .

This is what whimsicals I've been redused to
