Anybody have any experience with a hemi builder based in Carrol Ia I think it is in conjunction with a NAPA store? Results of your build? Thanks in advance.

The guy you are speaking of is Larry Demers. I knew him back in the 1980s when he was a very talented guy running the machine shop at the NAPA store that he was/is a part owner of. Back then he had pictures of a Hemi Challenger that he had previously owned and maintained. In the past few decades I think he has been running a large displacement big block Chev in super/comp.

He is familiar with the Hemi and he has a ton of experience as an automotive machinist and he does hot rod stuff.

I've had friends that Larry has done engine work for. He tried to help me with my damaged W5 head recommending his "go-to" guy. He's good people!

Larry is very good. I repeat, very good. All top notch equipment, honest, and he knows mopars. You won't go wrong. He does a lot of hemi's. Yes he's co-owner of the local NAPA store and he does race a chevy in super gas. He has a hemi car, and a few other personal hemi projects. You will be happy, very happy.
