a body P/S k-member ? #234021

Just noticed in Galens white book, in 68 there was a power steer and a manual steer k member for big block a body,is this right and what is the difference?

The one w/out power steering also states it is for a 68 GSS 440 Mr. Norms car. I have seen several of these but have not found a notable difference in the k-frame itself. Of course the motor mount is different, but I have no idea why the k-frame would change unless it has more gusseting. I might have to take a closer look. I have a 68 GTS 383 car I am building right now and a 68 GSS 440 Dart complete at the shop, so stay tuned!
