The 2017 Stickshift Challenge will again be Aug 11-13 this year at the Mopar Nationals, as always. A big Thank You to Brewers Performance for stepping up again this year. Similar to years past Aug 11(Fri) will be time trials, and the Challenge ran on Saturday. Two time trials saturday morning and then into eliminations. Thank you to all those that came in years past and I look forward to seeing everyone again this year. Payout: Winner $1000 R/U $500 Semis $100 The winner will also receive a Brewers Performance $500 gift certificate. The R/U will also receive a Brewers Performance $250 gift certificate. All participants will get a free t-shirt, still working on this years design and color. If a factory style 4/5/6 speed is in the final, thats a $100. (Each of the last two years has had a factory trans in the final). A case of oil will also be given to best R/T in 1st round of elims. So bring out your stickshift ride and have some fun. This is a laid back event, they'll be free t-shirts again for participants marking the 5th Anniversary of this challenge. Hopefully no rain as well. We will be using last years trophy with a new plate attached since no one got to take it home last year.

Might try to make it this year. Will try to slow the car down a bit, so I can compete. Pocket T- shirts

Shirt guys gonna do a couple with pockets, bad news is I need both of your AARP numbers so I can get the discount!
Nice job on Saturday Greg! Greg did real good on Saturday going to the finals. Took me out in the 3rd round. I'm sure he'll have his AARP card as well on Saturday at the Nat's...... Good to see you Andre. Thanks again for doing the Stick Shift thing at the Nat's...You're a good guy

I thought the first stick race was in 2004? Jeff, I have a trophy that is dated 2005 from Pittsburgh Raceway Park( Keystone Raceway Park),in Pennsylvania. Pretty sure the Stick class at the Nat's started that year or like you say, the year before. The first one at the Nat's was sponsored by Jamie Passon. That lasted for, I believe, 2 years then he dropped out.

Yes, Thanks to Andre. It was quite a mix of cars old to new, streetable, to all out, men women, young to old(er), 14s to 7s in the quarter. Winner was Chris in his really cool 66 Fury. I think he had a 9.988 on a 9.98 dial. Runner up was Tim in his convertible challenger (he done good). I broke on Sat morning so got to at least watch the races. No double hat trick for me. Andre picked up a full second from last year going 9.30s, still with his 451. I knew something was up when he pulled on his gloves Good job to all of the stick racers Congrats to Chris and Tim
