Well work finally had me home for a weekend so I decided to check out Dragway 42. I stopped going there back in 1990 because the track had gotten so bad.

This track is smooth as glass. Makes Norwalk and Quaker City seem like a country road. Not knocking these tracks they are both great to run at but crap this was crazy smooth.

The track 60's good for a track this new(.02 slower than any other track I run at). This should come around as more cars run and prep is refined.

My only complaints are Saturday is 1/8 mile and the 1/8 is marked poorly(there is a yellow line on the wall and a cone on top of the wall). Other racers I know also had trouble with this. Please put in a stripe.

We also had trouble hearing the PA for class call up. There was a lot of echo and reverb.

Minor issues for a new track. It is really a nice place and and will only get better as they continue to add finishing touches. I will be back.
