Asking a question for a friend that has a .650 comp cams solid flat tappet cam in a 440 wanting to switch to a good NOS cam non roller in a 3200lbs Demon w/ 456 gears, 30" tire,9" Dynamic Converter, 727 tranny, 850 carb, and 452 heads w/ light port work done. Currently running a torqer intake manafold. Wanting any suggestions on a good intake (Victor/M1) to work with 250 NOS plate. Drag car only. Any cam/intake suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

Maybe give the cam companys out there a call , you'll want a wide lobe sep , no point wasting the sniff out the tail pipes.

The TM-7 is a good intake to run.
I recommend lobe #'s: 6266/6420; dur. @.050 = 268/278; dur. @.200 = 180/185; lift = .579/.569 gross; lobe center = 113.
I would try to run a 1.6 or 1.7 ratio if you can.
I recommend nitriding the cam and either grooving the lifter bores, or running edm hole lifters.
Brian
