69/70 Plymies OP member 6 Joined: Feb 2012 Posts: 137 midwest - USA	Have a friend needing to rewind the springs for the hood hinges on his '71 Dart Swinger. These are located below the fender tops with very limited access. Are there any tricks to doing this or special tools? Appreciate any help.

Rhinodart Rhinotruck Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 43,650 Round Lake Beach, Illinoisy	The trick is to remove the fender splash shield so you can take the springs off to rewind them then re=isntall them.
