Is that a throttle stop format? Seems like both cars came into their coals at the 300 ft mark. Oh, and of course a big congrats. Car left good.

Yes, all cars typically utilize a delay box and throttle stop. I'm one of the slowest cars in The class going 10.90@128, most are in the 140mph range with some as high as 160 (Al's old cuda for example). The Nova I had in the final goes 158 regularly. I think we had 27 cars, weather kept a lot of people at home but it ended up being great weather. Thanks everyone for the kind words, just trying my best to fly the mopar flag. Even if it is with a Gen 3

Dustin Congrats again on the win. As you know it don't take a high MPH car to win in that class. Those that think that are defeated before they even try. Just takes a good driver and a predictable consistent package. I am sure it wont be your last one either. Oh yeah tell that video guy to get Cannons 9k burnouts and throttle clearing next time

Wallys like everything else have gotten easier to win over the years especially on the IHRA playing field. Heck we had a race at Keystone 2 weeks ago for one that guys could "double enter" and even "buy back". When you win one like you did you have something to be VERY proud of. Like I said before, GREAT job.

I don't think winning NHRA Wallys has gotten any easier, possibly fewer competitors out there than there used to be but IMO very few ducks are racing there. As for other wallys available, ie Track Dragster days, National opens etc, IMO who cares!! Mine are buried in a box where they belong. Not with the National and Divisional ones for sure...

Thanks everyone!! Means a lot.
Went racing again this weekend, we had a local Super Street Association race that draws about 25 cars. Got handed a gift first round, and parlayed that lucky round win into an overall event win 5 rounds later. Had a few people come by and rub my arm for good luck after that.
My luck ran out in the final round on Sunday in Pro (No box). 8 thousandths breakout taking 30 on my opponents drop. Car picked up a tad and didn't kill enough ET.
Next race is the NHRA national open at Bremerton Raceway this weekend.
