An option would be everything from a boneyard: a 70's low deck dist/ECU pentastar connector with a foot of pigtails. keep your current coil/ballast & get a 4 pin ECU from your parts house (& a spare). Ebay would also have the connector/pigtails new if need be.

I think the Pertronix is the best bang for the buck. When used with their coil, no ballast is needed which simplifies the installation.

Another vote for Pertronix. Definitely the cheapest, easiest option. If you take your time installing it you can even hide the extra wire and keep the stock look.

I have always had great luck with Pertonix conversions, all i recommend is if you go with that set up, buy 2 units and keep one in the car just in case the one in distributor goes bad on the road.
