This question seems to be hard to get answer too, or find anything on the internet.

Does anyone have pictures of the correct Head Markings for the bolts that secure the intake manifold on an early 1969 Hemi motor?

3 different bolts, Long, Medium and short for the linkage brackets. Specifically looking at the short anchor marker bolts as there are plenty of variations to those bolts. Thank you in advance.

As hard as it is to seal these things up, you might be better off using studs with nuts. I have an unused set of original bolts myself.

Your 69's intake arrangement should match this 1970 example. The bolt and stud lengths vary but if you trial fit them you will see which goes where due to the amount of length sticking out.

Bolt head markings varied a bit. These are re-plated originals. The second from the left long bolt, and the second from the left short bolt have the markings I see most often. The studs and nuts don't have any markings.

As a side note, I have a Chrysler performance letter that said not to use the very front three, or rear bolts. It said people were braking their intakes. But, that was issued a long time ago.

They dropped the 3 bolts at the front and rear of the intake midway through 1966. Not a concern for anything built later. This intake shows the access hole for the center bolt access, they quit drilling these holes in early 66 production.

I didn't know that Scott. But the repo intakes still have the holes.

They all have the 3 small holes, yes. But only the early 66 intakes have that upper/larger drilled hole in the center.

Thanks Scott. I did get a cheat sheet that shows where they go. Bolts are easy as the 3 Long needed for passenger side middle where mounts are thickest. The stud are three different lengths, and the longest is at the throttle cable bracket.

The NL heads are the long ones in the repop kits, and the N Heads the medium. I had NL heads in medium, but sounds like that was a vendor thing and they did come that way too. I also had the LG shorts, but the new kits say Anchor. Just a case where repop kits are setting a standard, that is not necessarily 100% correct for all cars.

Scott, I have seen Hemis with two clamps on the intake that held the PCV, and booster hoses in place, have you ever dealt with them, and know where I could find them?

I believe that same letter says to insert spring pins in the bolt holes for alignment which was continued then onward for Hemi production.
