I just finished bolting the engine/K frame/LCA subassembly under my 1969 Barracuda. The UCA's are now installed along with the front shocks. The T bars are still out and the front T bar shafts are loose in the LCA arms. What is the proper tightening sequence? Do I install the T bars and then tighten the T bar shaft nuts before cranking up the adjuster nuts? When should I tighten the strut rods, which are installed but loose? It seems like there is a proper sequence to make the suspension work properly, but the FSM is kind of vague. Thanks for the advice.

You tighten everything EXECPT the strut rod bushing nut in the front, and the LCA pivot pin nut. They should be just hand tight, then set the ride height, then you can tighten them to specks. It's in the service manual.

I like to set my weight in barbells on the DR seat with a half tank of gas & tires aired up then adj the ride height via the T bars till I get the front fender/tire clearance to my likeing after bouncing and jouncing several times as needed then tighten the strut rod front nuts and the t bar tapered front stud nuts then slide the weights over to the pass seat & drive it to the alignment shop & have him to slide em back over to the dr seat after he drives it on the rack & inform him that the car is preloaded for the dr weight at the height you want (& not to be changed) & slip him a twenty to accomodate your extra requests. I like zero camber and an 1/16 to 1/8 of toe in and as much positive caster as he can get (might not be much). Ask for the grey haired guy to do it (make an appt). Ideally I like to set the ride height then the toe in (tape) and camber (2 ft carpenters level) myself (camber first) then drive it several miles to let things settle then recheck ride height. My 65 dart floated down the road when I was finished.
