Shop around your local parts stores. Ask for a starter for a later model truck W/ a V8. I used one from a 91 B250 van W/ a 318 in Gina's car.

I have used the Mopar mini-starter on my 440 powered Polara for years. For ease of installation, I would test-fit the starter because you might have to modify the wiring lugs for block clearance and then I would pre-wire the starter and slide it into place with the two starter bolts the last part of the install. You will be impressed in how fast it will spin even a high compression big block!

New ones on E bay and 440 Source are actually cheaper than a reman.My reman is like 10 years old.My kid got a new one fron Source and its been in over a year with no problems.Rocky
