You should run 9.8's. Your a full tenth faster in the 1/8 over what my E headed 511 ran.

Thankxx guys.....I`m checking the rules for batt`s in the trunk and wheather I need a box or not and it doesn`t say. My rear firewall is completely sealed off from the cockpit and fully upholstered and my friend says I need a batt box....is this true?
Doug's car doesn't have a battery box for his 2 16V batteries.

I think that you WILL get into the 9's with ease! My 408ci small block Koffel's Place engine with a 904 transmission, 8 3/4 rear end with 4.86 gears, and 33X16X15 slicks; I am in the 9.79 -9.83 range. Here is one of my ET slips from the Norwalk Chrysler Classic.
60' _ 1.328 330' _ 3.936 660' _ 6.165 MPH _ 109.77 1000 _ 8.119 1320 _ 9.797 MPH _ 133.63
GOOD LUCK!

I'm heading out to the shop to pull the trans out right now. I pulled the pan off and found nothing. So we'll have to wait and see. DC
