Any body on here have any recommendations on a aluminum radiator that will work for A-body ( 70 - 74) with big block engines ? Part numbers would be great or where to purchase.

Thanks in advance...

I bought a Champion radiator and it works very well. Application was for a 440 in a 70 Fury

I would get a Champion 3 or 4 row. there were early on issues with poor welds & slightly warped side flanges & reportedly that has been pretty much resolved & there was a guy on who who deals em & guarantees satisfaction. it is alot of radiator for the money, just check flatness when it arrives (eBay may have some good prices if our guy ain't around no more). I would get the pump manifold that puts your hose on the opposite side of your timing marks then get a rad with the outlet on that side. A schroud & an MP thermal clutch fan properly spaced into it is a good idea & welding an anticav plate to the impeller. At least a 185 stat (unless drag racing) & a fast pulley ratio.

I agree for the price Champions work well.Run one in my 65 b body 440.Even in the 90s it runs cool.Cost 150 from Ebay shipped.I did need to make a upper hose and get a 1 3/4 to 1 1/2 adapter for lower hose.It was like 6 bucks from Advanced.Rocky

I have a Be Cool radiator for my 408 powered Dart. That thing runs the engine cool. I never ran above 200 degrees on a race track.

For my big block 73 dart. I got a 27.5x19 radiator through summit racing.
