Between a rock & a hard place
I'll call around on Monday, but I though I'd ask here since I can't find my answer via google.

Anyone know the comparison of pressures between the two different types of springs? If I need a standard spring of 125 seat/350 open for example, would a lighter beehive be the equivalent??

Thanks!

I found my answer. Just seemed like a BH spring spec for a cam was pretty light to me. Thanks!

If a beehive breaks you don't have any back up, so guess what could happen?

No personal experience but my understanding has been that they were designed for less aggressive cams and also helped w/clearance issues.............. beer

I run beehives on my small block. Going on my 5th season on the same springs and they have lost 3 lbs on the seat and 1 over the nose.I run a solid flat tappet cam in the 280 @ .050 range and shift at 7000. Car can run in the 9s.
