what are the pros and cons of ceramic coated headers vs chrome headers? thinking about buying tti headers for a body smallblock daily driver that doesnt get driven but 300 miles a year.also is it worth getting the inside thermal barrier? thanks and fire away ed

I've run the ceramic TTI's on a BB for several years. It gets driven in the rain. No noticable rusting or change in color. Also no signs of heat damage to plug boots/wires and other parts.

I would definitely get the inside coated. What good is a coated header that is rusting from the inside out?
The ceramic coating is less affected by heat and easier to clean than chrome.
