Here's my Victor head update. Fuel pump quit 1000 ft out first round last Sunday at Summit race #4 Famoso. Didn't catch it in time = torched between 3&5. 440/512 OOTB MW Victors Weighs 3725 and has been 10.18 and 1.40 60ft. Has been pretty much a turn key combo since 2013 going quite a few rounds and some street action. Will fix head for sure but looking at other options too so will keep an eye on head threads like this. Sorry for the hijac Sorry to see this............. Do you have a WB?

Fel-pro 1009's....... That's just askin' for it. I hear ya Dwayne, they are 17059 marine gaskets but I'm sure same category. When it went, it sounded like dropping a box of silverware on the floor. As I was going for the kill switch I glanced at the fuel pressure and was bouncing off zero. Have an older WB Dom but, wasn't looking at it that run. Had been around 12.5 pulling.

Fish I had a set of Zeeker heads that burned thru in the same spot. Had them welded up an re machined and never looked back. Also switched to copper head gaskets on mine and have not been an issue either.

So I am working on CNC program for this head right now. Today we flowed intake port for first time chamber just blended into valve job. More work to be done..... Air speed little high 330 down the center of the port and 398 average over the short turn. Well here are some pictures

Brett you're going to want to look at I.H. on these heads. It's great that you're observing big flow rates but practical valve lift is sub .800" unless you're moving rockers around. J.Rob

Anyone care to share some data for what's out in market for this head?
The port I have right now will support 1000 HP I am sure. I guess I would answer that with a question..... What type of build do you envision using heads like that and making 900-1000hp? Are they going to need any other "special" parts that will be required to be able to take advantage of the heads in that configuration?(intake manifold, milling for Jesel, longer valves, etc) Then, when it's all said and done, does it make that power easier and/or less expensively than the heads it will be competing against? The reason I bring this up is, B1 heads. Easily can make 1000hp...... Yet they aren't as popular as the much more user friendly Indy stuff. I'm just being the devils advocate here....... If you're trying to develope something that has a reasonable amount of mass appeal(rather than just being more or less a "science experiment"), then it needs to have the support pieces be readily available so it can really compete in the marketplace. I haven't had one in my hands, but Hughes sells a cnc ported MW version of that head they claim flows 400.
