Who carries the best quality repo A/G switches and solenoids? I suspect mine has an internal leak when it is in the closed position because it is noisy and I can hear the rush of vacuum even over the engine noise. It quiets down when it is fully open. It might be time to invest in a new switch. confused

Save up your pennys and buy an NOS switch or good used IMHO, the repros are unreliable and have short life spans

Any idea on who has an NOS switch or fair market prices for this? I'm looking for a 1971 switch only.

I've given up on the usefulness of the solenoid.

I can repair the three nubs on the back if they are broken. It seems most of the time this is the case. If it is a repop switch from ebay, they are not plastic injection but pored into a mold. They don't have a flat sealing surface. I can repair them also. PM me if interested.

I don't have a smart phone and don't always log in when I search the board.
