Several options for a low mount like Hemi-itis posted, AR-Engineering makes a nice one.

No "good" pictures to share buy I use the factory round back alternator and have a C.E. motor plate. The alternator is mounted in the stock location. All I did was add to the length of the lower adjusting arm/bracket where it mounts to the water pump housing, about 2 inches(?) and run a longer belt.

Works for me......

I've sold a bracket kit to a bunch of folks over the last few years. It is designed to work with my motor plate and a short pulley but I would imagine someone with decent hot rod skills could make it work with other parts.

AR Engineering makes the best engine plate by far, and in my case I mounted the Alternator bracket above on the back side of the plate, and went with a 150amp Denso Race Alternator.

Works great!
