Whats with the top center of this intake?

Where is the the linkage pivot and core plugs?

Probably the same thing they did to the Max Wedge manifolds, cut them open to rework the plenums and then welded them back together.

Not sure what you do with it now for throttle linkage. Price is cheap for that manifold, but will take some work to make it ready to use. It looks like they started the conversion to the bigger interconnection and didn't finish. Is also on Craigslist for less money

Yes, I agree.

I've been looking for a Mag crossram... they all seem to have issues.

It seems on some of them there was a plate bolted on in that area. You might do the same by using the carb bolts/studs to hold a fabricated plate with a bell crank fastened to it to run the linkage.

I have a Diamond-Elkins magnesium intake that has been cut open and plates screwed to the top, but at least the linkage point is still there.
