I'm trying to make sure I buy the correct LH mirror for my 1971 Cuda according to the build sheet and could use a little help. The line on the broadcast sheet is blank so I know Dual mirrors are out and I assume that means I just had a plain jane manual mirror, Is the picture of the style correct ?

Yep, that's it.

Non remote mirror. I do believe that 70 and 71 are different.

So are the 70 and 71 E body plain jane mirrors different? Is it the bases?

Also those mirroe gaskets obviously are different than the rally mirror gaskets. Were they an E body only mirror gasket or were they used on other years/models?

That's correct Jim, 70 is different from 71, 70 had a shorter base.

Thanks Mike. So they probably used the same screw holes but the gaskets are obviously different than the rallye mirrors. I need to get one of each of an original non remote mirror and gasket from a 70 and 71-4 to make the gaskets for my gasket sets.

Besides the base , the mirror head on a 70 is more oval then round like a 71

I see that they are specific for individual years (70 only & 71 only) PG Classics has a weekend spring sale and is offering a 30% discount. Looks like I better buy now and save.
