Other than those actually made from carbon fiber, all those "wrapped" ones are actually done with a process called "liquid print". here's a link to one site:

A local place here does what they call Hydro-dipping like that.

yeah, i'm familiar with hydrographics. just thought it would cost less to get them already done vs doing them myself. by the time I buy the film kit and all the equipment I would have close to $300 into them. speedmaster has them, but on backorder for atleast another 90 days. thanks

A number of boom stick dealers do this type of work,or can recommend a shop that does.

Might not hurt to ask if they can do your valve covers.
