I am currently building a 360 Magnum with a 4 inch crank. The build consists of 4 inch eagle crank, eagle i beam rods, ross stroker pistons that come in at 10.2:1 with my heads. The cam is a KRC performance grind that is 242/246 @ .050, 586/600 lift on a 108 lsa. Edelbrock magnum heads with bowl work and valve job by modern cylinder head, comp beehive valve springs and lightweight retainers. PEP 1.6:1 roller rockers, hardened pushrods, and mopar hydraulic roller lifters. The intake is a Hughes/Edelbrock rpm air gap efi piece that has been deep port matched, the throttle body is a hughes stage 2 972 cfm piece, and 30 lb. an hour fuel injectors. Stock distributor, Melling HV oil pump, Dakota R/T oil pan and MSD ignition rounds it out.
Lets see what you guys think, I have a number in mind give or take 15 HP and 10 ft. lbs. of torque.

I can tell you what my dyno'd 408 Magnum is: cast MP crank Ross 9:1 pistons Eagle H-Beam rods stock iron R/T heads MP 1.6 roockers Comp/KRC cam .510 224/228 MP M1 EFI intake 24 lb/hr injectors MP throttle body computer reflash by KRC 381 RWHP in a 4400-lb Ram, so roughly 450 crank HP. When I was building it, Desktop dyno said it was good for 480 HP. I kept mine pretty mild since its mainly a fun street cruiser; I say yours will be good for a about 490-500 crank HP.

I am going to have it chassis dynoed, but not until May or June. I am guessing 490-500 as well. Its nice to hear that some of you agree. This is going in a 94 Dakota standard cab, short bed, 2WD truck. It should be a handfull. All I want to see is 11.99 and I will be happy ( At least for a little while ).

You'll have no problem getting an 11.99 out of it with traction. As far as guessing HP 500 and 500 ish.Flywheel numbers, not rear wheel. Some dyno's may give a better number and if it was dyno'd for a magazine it would add some nice HP. Sounds like a nice combo for what you want to do. With the correct converter and well tuned it could run well below what your looking for.

That is my limiting factor though, it is a manual trans truck. It has the stock NV 3500 5 speed in it for now. We will see how long that thing lasts. If and when it goes I will be going with a 904 with a loose converter and a manual valve body. For now though, it will be a NV 3500 bash fest.

Actually, im using a stock style obd 2 computer tuned with an sct tuner. Stock style carter in tank pump and fuel rails. Marty at KRC said I should have no problem using those parts with som programs he has already tested on his 03 hemi ram.

good luck with that. the NVG3500 is rated for 340 ft-lbs, that's why 360's were never available with a manual in half-ton pickups. when it goes, I'd probably look towards a tremec TKO over a 904...
