ESPO and springsnthings get good reviews on here regularly. An option would be to have your shop rearch the main leaf(s). You can clamp the springs out aways from the center bolt with a pair of C clamps then remove the nut on the bolt to seperate the leaves. I like to crack the nut with a nut cracker as the threads on the bolt tend to get messed up from road debris & I dont want to break the special bolt but your shop would have em on hand.

ESPO is SpringsNThings. http://www.springsnthings.com/The other supplier is Eaton Detroit Spring. www.eatondetroitspring.comBoth have good reviews although both of them have their detractors. Funny how people are 100x more likely to complain than to give attaboys. Detroit has blueprints for American cars going waaaaaay back. R.

Another good manufacturer Stanley (Harrisburg, Pa.) AFIAK they don't make make custom but Like Eaton/Detroit they have detailed info on many of the specific springs, many cross referenced to the original part numbers. If you can't buy locally (call Stanley in Harrisburg for local retailers) Stengel Bros is a retailer that will ship to you. They have both a .net and .com website - don't know why. Here's a direct link to Dodge leaf packs http://www.stengelbros.net/Dodge-Passenger-Car-Leaf-Springs_c_194.html

If yours artent broken look into having them rearched.Re did my kids 62 300 and had 1 inch extra lift an and extra leaf added.Better than any new springs you could buy.He ran them for at least 12 years and sold the car.Cost 100 bucks for both at the local spring shop.A good shop can do whatever you want.Rocky

I would suggest replacing the U bolts as well. The nuts use an interference fit that tend to deform the thread as they are tightened up. Reusing them aggravates the issue.
They say there are no such thing as a stupid question. They say there is always the exception that proves the rule. Don't be the exception.

I would highly suggest cracking the u bolt nuts with a nut cracker then removeing the nuts and clean the bolt threads with a thread chasing die & then the new nuts will go back on like butter (45 lbs on 1/2" ubolts). Road debris fubars the threads on the shanks over time. lightly Snug all 8 nuts evenly then tighten em so the axle lays flat.
