Most of those aren't interior groups. But some have interior related components to them. The A93 packages were called "Deputy" in Dodge terms. I think Plymouth just called them a "coupe". All offered on two door models. They are no frills low level option groups or models. They would be the least expensive models offered and the justification for advertising statements like, "...starting at $xxxx !" On the e-bodies and 71-up bodies, the most obvious thing is they not have roll down rear windows. The rear windows had no regulator mechanisms and were fixed in the up right position. On E-bodies, the rear door panels had a plug where the window crank was. I'm not sure, but I think the b-bodies just didn't have the hole for the window crank punched through. Then there were items that were standard in Challenger, Barracuda, Satellite, Charger that were substituted or omitted with less expensive parts. For instance: no cigeratte lighter, no day-nite rear view mirror, very plain vinyl interior, no 225 /6 motor standard (198 /6 std), black instead of wood grain steering wheel on E-bodies, etc. This is where hamtramck historical site is a must read for you: http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/library.shtml Look at the extra cost items on the Challenger Coupe column. You can do the same for Bbodies too. The E-body coupe was only offered in 70-71 and only noted by the A93 fender and build sheet code. A Plymouth 71-74 bbody coupe will have its own body style also noted in the vin, for example RM21. Not sure if dodge did that also. Here's the same thing for 71 charger. http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/images/dealerships/SalesmansPocketGuides/1971/71_Charger_2.jpg

Specifically these:
A87-Roadrunner Decor Package A88-Interior Decor Group A93-B & E Body Coupe package A94-Reminder Light Package A97-Special package A99-Special Coupe Package
Also what was the option code for AM/FM radio 5-1/2 watts and what was difference between that and the "search tune" AM/FM radio 5-1/2 watts?
What were these option packages all about?
Thanks The best place to start is here: http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/library.shtmlMost all the basic info is there from the horses mouth.

Well, the A87 Roadrunner Decor package was available from 69-71. What did it consist of for a 1971 roadrunner? Do you have a car with all those codes listed in the first post? Or different cars with those codes? Just post your fender tag and ask for help decoding it and specific help with contents of particular codes.

Neither. I have a car with a fender tag that mentions some codes that I have not listed in this post. I have no build sheet at all. I'm curious to know about the radio code that I mentioned in the OP because I have a code R11, which is for an AM radio in my fender tag but the car clearly came with a factory AM/FM mono radio. Have no clue what code that might be.....
The other items I'm just curious to know. Radios interchange pretty easily and seamlessly. Don't see why it would not be R11. Do you know history from new?

That information re A87 was great. Fantastic little nuggets of knowledge!! Thank you!! I'll go back a little later on to visit that web page for which you provided a link. Read all the Plymouth labeled items down the 1971 column. To start. 👍

Don't know the history from new except to say I'm the 3rd owner. The car has always been in Ontario from the vehicle record I had done in the early 90's.
As for the R11 code, it's just one of those things that I'll never correct even though I have had a chance to. Why would I consciously try to correct all the numbers on my fender tag when I want to have an AM/FM radio in my car and not just an AM?
Same thing goes for my M2X9 décor group. Why would I switch back to a vinyl bench seat and column shift car when I love my bucket seats and factory Slapstik? I just can't see myself doing it so, consequently, the car will never be numbers matching.
I am sure that many users on this forum struggle with the same dilemma as me.
Then I guess it doesn't really matter if you are not going to return the car to stock ?

I was tempted to go to the Hamtrack-Historical library website to review the option codes for all of the Plymouth Satellite based cars and I still will. But I found this first which I had to see for myself. A 1971 training film for would be car salesman and women who required training to sell these cars when they were new. A lot of interesting stuff for you Moparts.com users. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMg6ArQ4_QY
