Hey all . . . just wondering what shocks you would recommend for above mentioned truck. It is used pretty much in summer time for towing travel trailer. I was kind of leaning towards a set of Bilsteins . . . any experience with these ???

Thanks,

Mark

I put those shocks on the '02 CTD that I had and got them from

Since you are in Canada you might want to find a local dealer to avoid excessive shipping charges and duty.

I've tried a few different shocks and so far the best one for the money(imo) are Monroe Sensa-Tracs. They do a great job on rough roads. They took the death shakes out of my '98 ram. I just put a set on my '77 D200 to soften the ride.

They were marked down at Rock Auto a few months ago.

Quite happy with the KYB Mono-Max's that I put on my '99 CTD dually.
So much so I bought a set for my XJ Cherokee now both have an excellent ride.

I used the KYBs on the '87 D100 that was my DD until last fall. I got those through www.rockauto.com and was quite happy with them. My "new to me" '98 Dodge 2500 has new shocks on it (I don't know) what they are and don't need to replace them yet.
