Looking to purchase a holley stand alone digital dash kit(Holley 553-109). Best price I've seen online is $999.95. Was wondering if there are any dealers that can beat it or if anyone offers an expanded kit for the same price (ie more sensors etc). Trying to help my budget where possible, Thanks!

I'm looking to by the kit. It comes with the most basic sensors needed to get up and running. I'll probably have to buy a few more later but its a good starting point.

I'll check with hyperaktive. Thanks

The margins are pretty small on Holley stuff... I can get that part wholesale, but its not a huge savings.. Jegs really isn't making a lot on that sale at 999.95

Thanks, just wanting to make sure I'm not missing out on any deals/discounts that might be available. I'm checking with a few local dealers to see what they can do.

Contact Mopar_Rich on here. Not sure on the price but he will be the best support on here. He answered all my questions. I haven't bought anything through him yet but I plan to when I build my turbo efi.

Holley is very cautious about the minimum price that dealers should sell. Certified Holley dealers sign an agreement that they will not go below the the Minimum Advertised Price (MAP). They publish a monthly "Do Not Sell" list to help control this. $995 is the MAP price for the 553-109.

Holley feels the most important thing is to buy from a certified dealer who can provide the technical support.

If you advertise at anything lower than MAP pricing and get caught, you are on the "do not sell to list" that we get once a month as dealers. Now, any dealer that wants to, could sell it to you at cost if they so choose, they just can't advertise it........nor will they make any money.

People complained years ago that Jegs and Summit were putting their local brick and mortar speed shops out of business or they couldn't compete and that something should be done. Something was done by many companies and it's called MAP pricing. You will be hard pressed to find many that will go under it

Thanks for the info everyone. We purchased from a local dealer today so we are looking forward to getting the dash installed and finishing up our car.
