I'm trying to identify the builder of my current convertor as I'd like to change the stall. The numbers stamped on it are 11795 sp 082x, 2783502 and fj9b. There is also the letter U stamped the whole way around the convertor.

Pretty sure that is Dynamic number. I would call or shoot them an email.

Yep, that's their standard 9.5" vert that stalls around 4000 rpm. Nice Vert, have one myself.

Definitely a Dynamic 9.5". Not sure what configuration mine is (i.e. sp 082x, IIRC) w/o digging up the original receipt.

FWIW, mine flashed to about 4500 from an above-idle launch powered by a 600-ish HP 440. "Your results may vary!"

Oh, just in case there's any confusion, we're talking about Frank Lupo's Dynamic in Delaware, not the "other" Dynamic up in Connecticut (I think). Don't ask me why there are two different trans/converter companies w/ absurdly similar names.
