This is the BEST small tire show on the planet. Crowded? yes.....aggravating at times? yes. But worth the price of admission. If you went ONE time you would probably never miss another.

We went last year, would be going again this year, if I had the truck ready. It's a spectacle for sure, but we enjoyed it

Part of the problem with people on the starting line at this track is lack of seating. They are constantly adding bleachers, but still don't have near enough. The bleachers on both sides will be packed and people 4 and 5 deep on the fence. You simply can't see........so guys with the right arm bands will mosey toward the starting line to try and see. It's never THAT many people, but a starting line is a small space, so a few looks like a lot. RvW is when the problem is, because every car and every pair could be something exciting, so everyone in the lanes moves forward. They added some smaller VIP bleachers last year on either side of track and that really helped for fall race and security was much tighter, as far as being in that area. They really need a large "racers and crew only" grandstand that can be accessed from the lanes. This would help immensely. The spring race is the first BIG race of the year and it will be packed again, as racers shoot for THIS race to be ready and spectators do the same.

Some talk about having to park a long way off and walk........this isn't the Saturday night heads up race at your local track. This is like a national event at an NHRA track. When was the last time you got to park close at one of those? There are SO many race cars here, that normal spectator lots are full of race cars. Sure can't park THEM down the road

Man Henderson keeps blowing the tires off, hope he gets it figured out. The lime green Duster broke after the burnout.

What does "Radial VS The World" mean? Aren't they all on radials?

[quote=Dave Hall]What does "Radial VS The World" mean? Aren't they all on radials? [/quot

When Donald Long started this race eight years ago radial racing was done with "stock suspension style cars". Used your factory locations for your suspension. So Donald said if you bring your pro mod and bolt on a tire of same size slick or radial the radial car will win. You had a few people try it on slicks but soon realized the radial tire was faster if you can get it to hook and 60ft. So he invented this class saying radial cars against the world ( or any other car), it now has basically become a pro mod class on radials now.

Something is bent or flexing under the rear of the car. Since we put the new 765 in last fall, it's either knocking the tire off, or driving hard left and trying to power stand.

I have put a LOT more bar in it, to try and push nose down.....didn't work. In the past anti-roll adjustments fixed the going left, but not now. I have resorted to dialing in rear steer to try and make it go straight. It's 60 footing hard but we can't keep the nose down. For the next pass, it has 65lbs on the nose and we already had 56% on the nose as it was. I have moved the kits around and have 3 turns of rear steer in it. THAT isn't right. This will be the last race for the stock style G-body suspension. It's going in the chassis shop next week to back half it, Tired of fighting with it...........Mark Menscer had the best comment......"man, that thing is just pissed off"...........LOL!!!! Even trying to pussyfoot it to get it down, it's going 1.06 and 1.07 60foots with the nose 8" high
