I don't have a picture of the May SPD car, have to put it up on the lift. Font looks correct. But I have other full VIN engines/transmissions in the same Serial # range. I understand that they are not necessarily an indication of build date, but it appears they used full VINs up until the 275,XXX range? I'll check my other engines that I can get to and post some pics. The hemi motor in my 68 RR came from a 69 RR. No idea of the car's SPD the translated date on the bottom rail is 9 Sept 68. The block was cast on 6-10-68. The side pad is stamped with a partial vin - "9A254886" I posted this number some time ago in the lost and found section but nothing so far. I had to do a double take on the earlier picture posted with the 68 stamping. That one was "8A287500" mine would be "580" I really had to look close and blow the picture up to see if the 0 might have possible been a 8...but it sure looks like a 0... Still looking...

the May '69 RR shouldn't have its full VIN stamped on engine/trans the FULL VIN stampings are from the beginning of the model year until some time in January 1969 (all Charger 500s = FULL VIN & all Charger Daytonas = partial VIN) got pics? My March 69 built charger has full VIN on it.

My January 27th runner has a full VIN stamping. Getting pretty close to the end of the month.

Take a look here and see what block casting number you have. Engine ID

yes i'm sure side of the block and all that is there is 426 HT NOT SURE WHERE the block came from it was bought by someone off the internet ot is strange as it has a gear drive and the cam spins backwatds it is on nickd garage , strnge beast for sure So you don't have this engine, it's on another website? Which one. The most common Mopar site I'm aware of is this one Nick's Garage and I couldn't find it anywhere on that site.

I have a friend with dual SB GMs in his boat and I believe one runs opposite to the other. So did Chrysler do the same when it came to running two Hemis in a boat. I know the Blown 426 I have from the boat runs like the way as a Car motor runs.
