I have a torque converter with the threads slightly damaged right at the top of one of the hole. The bolt holds the required torque but I'm using the smaller 5/16 bolts and they are .45 inches long with the the flex plate being .2 thick. the bolts thread all the way into the converter. Does anybody make longer torque converter bolts? I'm confident in threads and I'm going to use locktite but little longer bolts would make me feel better.

It is a 440 stroker for street use only and I got the flexplate but I don't really need SFI approved.

Thanks
