My shop has stopped doing cranks. I have several to grind and don't want to ship them to a grinder. I've heard of a guy in Dallas that grinds for Reher Morrison. Anyone have a good shop there?

Arlington Automotive Machine did my last one. It's been a while, though.

Man, I just drove from Abilene to DFW.

I think I would ship them myself, I hate traffic.

OF course where I live finding a shop, much less a good one, to do this stuff is tough.

Don't be the exception.

Not even on a good day😳. Ed's sold out and there is a crank grinder just sitting there. He never taught the last guy that bought the business and Ed is still around just not interest in teaching him. From what they told me if you don't grind a lot of cranks and have feel for the machine, you can't just get a job done. Idk.

Ashworth has shut down as well.
