I am working on a 1967 Dodge Dart trunk lid and what I want to know is; are the 1967 Dodge Dart Trunk finish panel mounting holes in the exact location as the 1968 Dodge Dart finish panel mounting holes?...

Are you talking about the thin finish panel or the one that covers the entire trunk? Keep in mind that the 67 trunk lid is a one year only piece as the inner bracing has cut-outs in it while the 68-69 is one large stamped piece. The 67 large finish panel is actually 6 pieces, one large piece in the middle with a GT emblem bolted to it then 4 thin aluminum pieces.

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

I am seeking the wide 1968 Trunk finish panel that covers most of the end of the trunk lid.

The holes are definitely different. I was going to use a 67 lid for a 68 I was working on but would have had to drill new holes, the only good thing is the panel hides them and any other holes that may be in the lid.

Hmmmm well I guess I have to get a 68 trunk finish panel first and get the holes welded up and re-drilled.
