Yep had 10 year old G 60-15 Good Years on my car and it drove like crap. Bought a new set about 3 months ago from Jim Miner he has a Good Year store and a member here. The car rides/handles great. I went with 2 G 60-15's and 2 L 60-15's. After a burnout they are even sticky, must be a softer compound then years ago. Ron

Also, are the L60's mounted on 7" wide wheels? They look GREAT!

Do the L60x 15s rub on the fenders any? I just used tin snips and a BFH to clearance everything!! Just kidding no interference at all on 7" rims. 8" would flatten the tire more but I can't stand a trim ring gap. Ron

This past summer I put new E60x15's back on this survivor Cuda and it drove amazing. I drove the car 150 miles from Richmond VA to Annapolis MD Need more pictures of that Black Cuda!!!!Best car you own!!! On that Cuda years back I put a new set of F 60-15's on the front and 25 year old L 60-15's on the back and that car was also very solid and true down the rode. Ron

Yep, I'm talking Good Year Polyglass baby. I love the look, but have shied ( sp shyed ? ) away from them because of how they handled. Stuck with radials. I heard they might be manufactured with a softer compound, so I wanted some real world experiences with the new stuff. Thanks Do the new ones track as good as radials? Old ones would follow any rut in the road ... Oh, and nice cars guys

Old ones would follow any rut in the road ... Oh, and nice cars guys Good question, no I don't want to mislead anyone into thinking they are as good as radials, they aren't. But they also aren't like the old used sets I used to run. They will follow the ruts and certain lines in a road. The best way I can describe it is I CAN drive one handed with New Good Years but couldn't with old used ones. When I first got the car on the rode 3 years ago I installed 4 used G/Y's. They were from the mid 2000's. Every piece of the suspension was new or rebuilt. Had an aliment done for Bias Ply's. Then I bought new BF Goodrich Radials and used them less then 6 months and couldn't take the look and browning letters. I then went to the brand new G/Y's and not going back!! Ron Ron

These tires do work great, hold up, and are made here in the US. If anyone is looking for these or any of the Goodyear reproductions, contact me and I will be happy to help! 816-654-3400

I heard they are going to make the original Goodyear Polyglas GT style tires in radials as an option. Can anyone confirm? (I think they are by far the BEST looking RWL tires ever).
