A friend of mine is working on this 75 D100 and is having trouble finding the rear view mirrors as below. He has found some cheap plastic ones but these are metal and that's what he wants, does anyone repop these that you know of? Thanks.
Ken

sorry but no one is reproducing them rightnow. best bet is to rechrome the bases and redo the heads with new mirrors. NOS ones are 500.00+ IF you find them

There are several listings on Ebay right now for the bases, maybe you could find the mirrors later and make something work for now.

Or...there also a guy selling an NOS set for $675. Says make an offer. Think he'd take $150?

Really expensive D100 side view mirrors on Ebay

Be aware that Dodge also used similar mirrors on B vans, about 82ish. The difference between the Van unit and the truck unit is how the base fits against the door. One was flat, the other was curved (top to bottom) towards the mirror head. The flat base on the curved door would rock up and down. For the flat base to fit on the curved door, you couldn't just tighten the screws, or the base would break, but you could sand the curve into base, the base is just zinc, it sanded pretty fast. I just don't remember which base fit which doors..I would think a straight edge against your door at the mirror location would tell you pretty quickly which base you need. Don't pay big money for the wrong base mirror. Gene

Those mirrors are 10X better than the ones on my truck. I haven't been able to find a suitable replacement that didn't cost a fortune, so I'm afraid rechroming the original is the only real option. Mine are so pitted I doubt that's even an option. Happy hunting!

Thanks a bunch for the tips. We knew it was a long shot. I passed on the link to this thread so he can check it out. That is a lot a coin for a pair of mirrors, WOW! shock

Maybe try these guys.

They list a "small base" mirror for 72-80 for $55.

I feel your pain.
My truck is just a rusty beater, but I still need mirrors.
Can't find anything.
Nothing in the above for a '76 D-200.
Lately, I've been trying to find some 68 car mirrors and the only responses I get is N.O.S.
Don't need to spend that kind of money for my beater.
Let us know if you find something reasonable.

I have mechanical Aptitude.
I can screw up anything.

Well, if you would be interested in drilling holes for the ones that have small arms that require the 3 mounting holes (imagine a triangle with holes at each point) they were used until well into the 80's. I picked up a nice one with the head for $15 at a swap meet a few weeks back. wrench

The reason these are so valuable is they are factory lil red/warlock and adventurer mirrors.

Have you checked on just replacing the mirror heads? The local parts stores do carry a variety of style heads.

I put a set of these stainless steel mirrors on my '87 D100

http://www.awdirect.com/west-coast-mirror-junior-cham-cal-engineering-20852/mirrors/

Not everybody likes this style, but they worked great for me, they were stainless steel and hold adjustment. Not "Pro Street", but it is for a truck and not a race car...the Ramcharger is going to get a Wink multi-panel interior mirror so I can keep an Eye the competion when they chase me down
