Does anyone know if the felt covered rubber "cap" that fits on the bottom of the door's outer window glide/up-stop bracket is being repopped? It seems nearly all of the rubber body bumpers, etc are available, but I can't seem to find these. Don't know exactly what these are called, but being felt covered, and given their mounting location inside the door, I assume they are window glides and/or up-stops. Thanks.

Does anyone know about the rubber "cap" that goes on the metal bracket for the window up-stop? Are they available anywhere, or from anyone? How have you guys dealt with your 40+ year old hardened/cracked rubber caps? Thanks.

Check RT Specialties. I think that's where I got mine. I don't see them on the website, so call and ask.

Resurrecting this old thread. I've been away ever since getting back to work two years ago. Finally getting back into finishing the car. I recently started a new search, and found these: http://www.steelerubber.com/glass-up-stop-bumper-70-3623-62
They are virtually identical, and the dimensions are exactly the same as my originals.

I had never heard of Steele Rubber until I had fought with the SoftSeal window frame seals on my 68 Dart project. They just did not fit.

I finally called Dixie, explained my issue and they said yep, the SoftSeals are crap. But said that the Steele would work. Even though I had never heard of them, I tried them. And they were great!

Steele Rubber products are now my first go-to for my rubber trim pieces.

Master, again and still

Yes. Steele does not list them for 1970. Only '71 & '72. I have a '70 Challenger, and I'm pretty certain the window up-stops I found in my doors are correct for 1970. The only thing about my original rubber caps is they are lightly flocked with some sort of fuzzy material. The Steele rubber caps don't have any flocking.
