I am finally putting the new top on my Barracuda and have hit a snag. The body shop threw my old top away so I can't use it for reference.

I need to place the rear window, but don't know the measurements for placing it. I can get it centered no prob, but what are the measurements for:

1. From the #3 top bow to the top of the window
2. From the bottom of the window to the tacking strip.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

I checked my factory service manual and top installation dimensions are not listed. Haven't had any luck searching the net either.

Anyone know of a manual or chart where I can get these measurements? I need them asap.

I put on my last b-body top and I didn't have those dimensions either, nor the original top. The best advice I can give you is "1/2-install" the rear window, then "1/2-install" the top (back portion especially) and see what it looks like before you "fully install" the rear window.

As you'd guess, it should be centered left-to-right. As far as the rear window being up-down-centered.... it should just "look right" (sorry that's so vague).

On my car, I "thought" I had everything super-duper lined up straight, but when I got it all done I can see it's 1/4" off here and a 1/4" off there. Nobody would ever notice it except me and a car show judge. I just wish I'd done what I'm suggesting you do to make it perfect.
