I've had this van for about 4 months. With the drive train hot or cold I will OCCASIONALLY get a transmission clunk when shifting from reverse to drive. I have the car fully stopped and the brakes applied.
This seems to be a problem with this generation van. I haven't learned much from the Web other than it seems to happen to others and not much has helped. Computer flashes, bolt tightening, fluid and filter change didn't do much.
Any opinions?
Thanks

Ok thanks. I talked to a Tech buddy that works at a Chrysler dealership and he had never heard about it.
He talked about the axle nuts and maybe the "K" frame bolts.
Thanks

No repair needed is the best news. I hope it is normal. Our experience was bad lower control arm bushings. Of course our van is a much older.
I have mechanical Aptitude. I can screw up anything.
