Dose any one still make the conversion for the 69 and earlier shiftiers?

There have been things out there, BUT I don't think they work all that well, BUT you can use a '70-up slapstick shifter in an earlier car if you shorten the effective length of the upper arm on the through-floor shaft from 2.5" to 2.25" (just drill a new hole). All other brackets/rods are for the early car.

There is also a long handle version that was optional in late 70s B-bodies. I have one as well as a '70 shifter. One of them will be in my '67 Barracuda convertible when I get it on the road.

This is the '70 shifter with an early knob mounted in my Barracuda.

I welded & cut slots in my stock one, also converted it to cable, works great. it is not pretty, 1st to 2nd just bump shifter & it locks in 2nd,,push button & move to 3rd,it wont go any further until you let go of the button.

I saw this on another forum and figured that it might be an idea that would work. I still like the slap stick better, but this another idea.
