Original 3-speed cars rock!
Back "in the day" it was the kiss of death.. NOBODY wanted a 3 speed and if a car had one good chance the tranny was wasted from abuse.... More money than the cars were worth to upgrade to a 4 speed... Guaranteed you will become very bored driving the car with this transmission, to where an upgrade would make it a whole new car.... Again, great candidate for a Passon 5 speed....

Original 3-speed cars rock!
Until you put it in first and find out your in reverse Actually I'm loving it. I've owned a dozen 4 speed cars over the last 20 years and this is the nicest shifting car I've ever had. It shifts like butter. I've also converted many a car to 4 speed. This car is all original and runs so well I won't be doing any mods. I'm also excited that it's an oddball. It should show very well

I had a 1971 Cuda B7 was the color in 1977 it was my daily driver to and from high school ... It was a 340 and it had a 3-speed from the factory I changed it to a 4 speed within a couple of months of owning it. I would think that most of the 3 speeds were converted over by now. After all it's been over 45 years!
