Definitely not junk. I ordered from them years ago and was very pleased with the quality.

Not junk at all, I just bought one of their hoods, I just painted it and put it on, no prep needed.

They have merged with Stinger but we just ordered a bolt on six pack hood for a 69 RR and it came in two weeks and was dang near perfect. Happy happy happy.....even the painter did not squeal. Todd It's good to know they've stepped up their customer service. When I ordered my hood and bumper several years ago it took a month to get them and they were in stock. The hood is good but the bumper will need some work.

Crating/shipping charges are the deal killer. Any idea what those charges typically run? Doesn't say on AAR's site. Since I live in BFE, Mo. everything has to be shipped from somewhere far away

Thanks.. as to the question on shipping... it cost me $125 to have my hood shipped to Romeo Mich.. I was down there in Florida and seen my hood after they did some mods that I wanted done and I thought about picking it up then and take it home but I went with the shipping cost because I didnt want to strap it on the roof of my Jeep for the ride back home... the biggest factor is the size of the thing you ship... for a hood you pay for oversize shipping.. when I got it I changed my mind on it being a lift off hood so I glassed in a couple of mounting points to change it to a hinged hood
