I think it is good for all of us who are getting into the new Hemi stuff. Edelbrock is one off the biggest aftermarket companys if they support this engine platform with parts it may get others motivated to build stuff too.

I ask you guys to take a minute at shows to talk to the reps about parts like this and show there is a interest in them.

This is good news! Any idea (even vaguely) on price?

The Edelbrock Performer RPM heads are Typically $900-1100. Some of the larger heads can run as much as $1400 each.

I think if they can come to market around 2000-2500 a set assembled they'll sell a good amount. Any more than that and you're out of reach for the average buyer.

I have about $2500 in my Apaches Ray ported. That covers the heads, shipping, porting, PSI 1515ML springs and Manley Ti retainers.

NO NO NO Nothing for you to see here. Stick with the LA stuff. LOL
The only reason I push the G3 is that there are parts. Plain and simple.
Lots of them.
I have a W9 R3 with a 4.25 stroke crank all ready to go but If I blow it up I have nothing to go to to fix it.
There is nothing for the Big block also. And don't get me started on the Indy stuff and all that. Yes Indy has a block but it put the average Moparts member out of reach.
Just got a Hellcat block thats machined ready to go that will hold 99.999% of power people here will throw at it. Heck I bet the car block will also.
IMO factory G3 Stuff is better than the Race stuff from Mopar.

You hit the nail on the head here. That's why I switched from AMC stuff. I had nice stuff but what happens when it breaks? I take half a year off scrounging for parts? The Hemi stuff is more expensive but at least it's available.

Saw on Facebook, MSRP for the Victor EFI Intake is $749.95. MSRP for the Performer RPM Cylinder Head is $1398.62 each.

The head features CNC machined chambers and CNC machined port entry & exits.

Hopefully a few companies come out with some reasonable solid roller options. I'm also hoping that a few companies release some solid roller lifters as well.

I thought I read an article where a guy used the .842 diameter LS style solid roller lifters in the engine. Is there enough material around the lifter bores to overbore and install bronze lifter bushings? The rockers is definitely the other problem. The only rocker systems I know of are by T&D and JESEL and they are priced out of reach for the normal blue collar worker like myself.

Some of these companies really drop the ball on their products. I called Harland Sharp on Monday about making a custom rocker for a set of small block Mopar Edelbrock heads. They told me to talk to Randy the Mopar tech and he took my info and my 8 custom rockers came yesterday. We talked about the NEW Edelbrock Victor head and he said Edelbrock was supposed to send him a head so they could make rockers but they never did. 2 guys that bought the heads also said they would send him a head but they also failed to do so. These guys will work for us but they also need help from us and the head producers.

PRW also has roller rockers, they are not adjustable though

I saw those and I'm hoping they produce a set capable of handling higher loads. I don't mind the non-adjustable aspect since there are ways around that.

You can still get the Harland Sharp rocker arms through Barton. About $2000

In truth, the Gen 3 Hemi Valve Train Design Sucks for the aftermarket!! They are not designed with "hot rodding" in mind. To really design something for larger lifts, larger ratios, etc...come up with a no holds barred system for these requires alot of modifying to the head. Kinda' like what you need to do for the Jesel system, which is machine everything out and bolt in a new stand for the rockers and spark plug tubes and use individual shaft rocker arms.

The T & D's as well as the Harland Sharps are designed as "bolt-on", with no or minimal clearancing required. They are compromised because of that, to be able to fit under the valve cover and fit in the head. Ratio option is non-existent. There's no room to change it. I have the T & D's now and they are very nice!
The cost for them is due to the amount of machine work in the rocker bodies as well as all the parts that are required to make them. Harland Sharps are cheaper than T & D, but they are aluminum bodys versus T & D's steel. I prefer a steel rocker, due to the severe offset from the valve to the pushrod that the Gen 3 has.

I spent alot of time trying to develop a rocker that can be done for less and I was wrong! My design would have been an in between of "bolt on" to full hog out like Jesel, but still would have required alot of modification. There's no way around it. It would have been rockers, stands, shafts, spacers for the valve covers & spark plug tubes, to get more clearance under the valve cover. For me to retail it, It would have cost more than T & D, which $2885.

I'm really curious what Edelbrock comes up with for rockers for their heads.

Cheap, adjustable roller rockers for these heads are not possible, because they have to be a system.

Good parts cost good money!!

I agree...wait till PRI. There may or may not be a "different" version. Also I was told that the Performer RPM heads will go for $1100 each, assembled.

I don't know if it was noted already but the heads have the hellcat bolt pattern as well as the standard intake pattern.
