A friend of mine sent me a few pics of Edelbrocks new genIII head and intake. He said they should be available in the spring. They are at the SEMA show in Vagas

That intake has my interest! Looks like a nice alternative to overpriced stock 6.1 intakes. Might be just the ticket for boosted application under a stock hood?

Awesome! Hopefully they will do a closed chamber version too looking at how deep the oiling channel for the rockers is in the deck, I suspect they will offer open and closed chamber or you can just mill them yourself without issue

Don't get me wrong, it is great to see more options available, but, We've had an extremely nice aftermarket cylinder head available for a few years, with the Thitek. I agree nice to have another option. The big question is price cuz a stock untouched eagle is 300 at .500 and the apache is 325 at .500. They r using better aluminum which is good. The intake is also good but the plastic car intake is just as good but you can't port it and boost is limited. Wonder what the price is? I would love to see a single Victor style intake . Maybe they will in the future. Matt

Very glad to see the aftermarket embracing the G3.
Hoping for many good things to come.

I think there are pics of an RPM head and a Victor? If they can at the bare minimum match the capabilities of a worked over Apache, then right on, otherwise blah.

A matched set of pistons at 12:1 and this might be my next build...Funny how one part claimed flow was 330cfm and the other was 350cfm though.
My flow guy will end up with $60 of my money to find out the actual numbers.... You pay $60 to have a head flowed? I would do it for free but shipping would probably be more
